About the event
This Wednesday is INTERNATIONAL BAT APPRECIATION DAY
Come celebrate this wonderful species with us.
Meet at Outdoorium Cafe at 2pm where we'll begin with a some folk-lore introducing the balance of myths and fact which have created the narrative of how we understand bats.
Followed by an interactive workshop exploring the powers of echolocation.Â
We'll then have a settling story to journey through the importance of bats and their role in pollinating.Â
After we'll have a seasonal drink & a silent meditation listening in to the powerful ultra-sonic sounds of echolocation which we recorded in Hampstead Heath last season just before the bats snuggled in for winter.Â
